Red Leaf offers a simplified European board game experience: with your students, you will explore a university divided into six specialized campuses (Art, Business, Science, Architecture, etc.). Each campus allows you to recruit or advance a student in its discipline, or participate in a unique mini-game related to its specialty. The game’s premise is simple: send one of your student tokens to an Action space on the campus board. Turns proceed clockwise until all students have been placed. Placing a student on an already occupied space costs more resources than the number of students already present. Students can be trained to levels 1, 2, 3, or Master: higher levels unlock more powerful actions and bonuses, and Master cards offer a unique effect and the ability to be placed on occupied spaces at no cost. The game is played over five rounds, each bringing its own set of new opportunities and challenges. By optimizing the combinations of your students’ effects, the advantages of each mini-game (some of which use a tile-placement mechanism), and the various end-of-round and end-of-game objectives, you will earn the most promotion points and become valedictorian!
